Scientific workshop: Protecting the rights of disadvantaged people according to Vietnamese Laws

(TVU) – On September 19, the School of Economics and Law of Tra Vinh University organizes a scientific workshop on ‘Protecting the rights of disadvantaged people according to Vietnamese law’, attracting over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

In her remarks, Dr. Huynh Thi Truc Linh, Vice Rector of the School of Economics and Law, said: The workshop aims to raise awareness of the rights of disadvantaged people, promote discussion and exchange of views, and propose specific solutions to protect their rights, laying the foundation for future research and policy development. It promotes change in the legal system and motivates improving the situation of protecting the rights of disadvantaged people in Vietnamese society.

The Vice Rector acknowledged and thanked scientists, experts, researchers and students for sharing, discussing and contributing opinions on the topic of “Protecting the rights of disadvantaged people according to Vietnamese Laws” She said this is a valuable opportunity for lecturers and students of the School of Economics and Law – Tra Vinh University to fulfill their training and research duties.

05 excellent presentations by students were selected for the workshop. The presentations focused on protecting the rights of disadvantaged people in Vietnam’s legal system, contributing many valuable recommendations to overcome existing shortcomings in the application and enforcement of current laws.
