(TVU) – In celebration of the 2025 Lunar New Year, Tra Vinh University’s staff organizes the charitable program “Spring of Love 2025” to distribute free supplies to elderly people living alone, families in need, and disabled individuals in Wards 1, 3, and 9 of Tra Vinh City, and Tieu Can District.

With a total fund of over 7.5 million VND, raised through contributions from Party members and benefactors, 19 gift packages containing rice, instant noodles, and essential items are given out, helping people celebrate a warmer and happier Tet.

“In keeping with our tradition of ‘the leaves protect tattered ones’ – that the fortunate should help the less fortunate,” says Mr. Thach Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Ward 3 Party Branch, “This program demonstrates the spirit of mutual support and compassion, bringing joy and support to those in need and ensuring a happy spring for all.”

The “Spring of Love” program reflects the responsibility of TVU to share hardships and bring warmth to those in need within the area.

In the future, TVU will continue to collaborate with internal and external organizations to maintain and expand charitable activities, supporting social welfare and community service.
