On April 19, 2025, Tra Vinh University signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam Mega Lifesciences Co., Ltd. The ceremony, held in the Innovation Room (WS4), Campus I, marks a significant step in strengthening university-industry collaboration. This partnership aims to create a strong link between education and the job market.ย
The signing event featured representatives from both organizations. Mega Lifesciences was represented by Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, National Sales Manager; Ms. Hoang Tuyet Nhung, Human Resources Manager; and several talent acquisition and development specialists. Tra Vinh University was represented by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, along with faculty, center representatives, and numerous pharmacy students.
In her welcoming address, Dr. Thach Thi Dan highlighted the vital role of university-industry partnerships in improving education quality and giving students early exposure to professional practice. She also praised Mega Lifesciencesโ contributions to the community, particularly in healthcare and global talent development.
Following the signing, a career counseling and recruitment workshop for pharmacy students took place. This event directly connected students with Mega Lifesciences, offering job and internship opportunities under a co-op model and detailed recruitment information. Students showed significant interest in the practical information shared at the event.
The workshop provided a valuable platform for student interaction, allowing them to ask questions and gain deeper insights into real-world job requirements. It also enabled Tra Vinh University to receive valuable feedback from the company, leading to curriculum improvements aligned with societal needs.
Both Tra Vinh University and Mega Lifesciences expressed their commitment to fostering a strong and lasting partnership, promoting the development of high-quality pharmaceutical professionals for domestic and international markets.
