Students at Tra Vinh University receive studious scholarships in 2024

(GSV – GV.TV) – On the morning of February 13, Cau Ngang Study Promotion Association, Tra Vinh province organized a scholarship giving for difficult circumstances and studious students on the occasion of 2024’s Wood Dragon New Year at the Cau Ngang district Political Training Center Hall.

Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony were Mr. Tran Minh Banh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Cau Ngang District; Mr. Nguyen Van Nga, Chairman of Cau Ngang District People’s Committee; Mr. Tran Van Boi, Vice Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial Study Promotion Association and representatives of leaders and former leaders of the district, industry, and district organizations.

At the Scholarship Award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Nga, Chairman of Cau Ngang District People’s Committee, appreciates the sponsors for their attention and care for pupils and difficult circumstances students in the district. He hopes that in the coming time, organizations, individuals, and businesses will continue to pay more attention to education, as well as support students in difficult circumstances, and help them have enough conditions to study contributing to the development of the homeland and the country.

According to Cau Ngang District Study Promotion Association, the annual “The fourth day of Lunar New Year” Scholarship Fund is a part of serial activities that the District Study Promotion Association launches, with the desire of supporting, helping, sharing some of the difficulties, and contributing to create the happiness for the district, creating motivation and confidence to help difficulties – studious students, and promote their talents to build a more developed homeland and country.

   

This year, the Cau Ngang district Study Promotion Association awarded scholarships to 256 students in the district who are studying at universities and colleges. Among them, Tra Vinh University has 18 students in Cau Ngang district receiving scholarships, each worth 2 million VND.

Nguyen Mai Duy Khoa – a Tra Vinh University student – sent thanks to district leaders, the District Study Promotion Association, and benefactors for their interest in helping and promptly awarding valuable studious scholarship to help students in difficult circumstances feel secure to study.

Duy Khoa expressed: “The annual scholarship awarding ceremony for studious students on the 4th day of the Lunar New Year is an activity with profound humane meaning, creating more motivation for us to overcome all difficulties and strive to study to become the model citizens for the family and society.”
