During the Entrepreneur Summit 2022 – Malaysia, from August 1–7, 2022. In the project group “Producing sauce from fermented rice”, 3 Tra Vinh University students presented their start-up proposal to the Advisory Board and Investors.
The Entrepreneur Summit 2022 will feature participation from nine universities in the area: Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) Malaysia, Trisakti University in Indonesia, University of Indonesia, Telkom University in Indonesia, Palawan State University in the Philippines, Chea Sim University of Kamchaymear in Cambodia, National University of Laos, University of Mpumalanga in South Africa, and Can Tho University.
TVU student Sơn Minh Thiện has a presentation on the startup initiative “Producing sauce from fermented rice”. This is an opportunity for TVU students to learn more about becoming entrepreneurs from the worldwide startup and get beneficial feedback from the Advisory Council to help develop their ideas and process their marketing products to markets abroad.
“The conference provides an opportunity for exchanges and cooperation amongst schools in the region on innovative start-up activities,” said Mr. Nguyễn Văn Vũ An, director of the TVU’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
In the next period, Tra Vinh University has encouraged bilateral and multilateral collaboration with other universities that have agreements in training international students. Each week, the students from different institutions focusing on entrepreneurship will exchange to support startup at Tra Vinh University, creatively apply innovative startup support models in the region to Tra Vinh University”.
