TVU – On the morning of July 22, Tra Vinh University organizes the international scientific conference “Research Issues in Science and Technology – RET 2023” with topics in the fields of information technology; mechanical and dynamic engineering; control and automation; construction; mechatronics, optoelectronics; AI applications, and intellectual property.
The conference is held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation on the ZOOM platform, attracting over 100 delegates, including scientists, scholars, experts, engineers, and experienced lecturers in research from domestic and international universities.
Among the attendees are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice President of Tra Vinh University; Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Head of the School of Engineering and Technology, along with representatives of the university’s units and students majoring in engineering and technology.
In his opening speech at the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung emphasized that the conference is a forum for exchanging and sharing research results and experiences with engineers, experts, scientists, and scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds in the fields of science and technology.
According to the conference organizers, there are 35 high-quality paper presentations out of 44 papers submitted. Additionally, there are three invited presentations by prestigious experts and lecturers.
These include the topic “Wind speed estimation and prediction for control, operation, and planning of wind power plants” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Duc Ton from Nazarbayev University (Republic of Kazakhstan); the topic “AI in manufacturing” by Mr. Vo Duy Nhat from Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd., and the topic “Refining Programming Education: Integrating Essential Software Engineering Practices” by Dr. Nguyen Bao An from Tra Vinh University.
Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Head of the School of Engineering and Technology, stated that RET 2023 is an annual event that connects domestic and international scientists. It is also a platform for announcing the applied research results of lecturers, students, and learners from colleges and universities.
The conference papers meeting the requirements will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN index. Particularly outstanding papers will be proposed for publication in the Journal of Science of Tra Vinh University and the Journal of Information Security.
