TVU – In a significant move to foster entrepreneurship and innovation, Tra Vinh University and Lac Hong University sign a strategic cooperation agreement on innovation in the startup movement. The momentous event occurs on June 6, 2024, at Campus 1 of Lac Hong University.
Gracing the signing ceremony are Dr. Nguyen Van Tan, Dean of the Faculty of Management – International Economics at Lac Hong University, representatives of staff and teachers from Lac Hong University, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Tra Vinh Province Business Incubator and Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Tra Vinh University, and more than 20 officials and employees representing agencies and departments in Tra Vinh province.
Dr. Nguyen Van Tan said, “Recently, Lac Hong University has achieved many outstanding results in entrepreneurship training. However, updating new knowledge and creating conditions for students to experience practical experience and building a network to connect with the business community face many limitations. This cooperation is an opportunity for the two schools to exchange experiences, support startup activities among students, and help students overcome future challenges while finding solutions to improve the startup ecosystem, increase support from the business community, and update new knowledge in this field.”
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An shares about the startup training program, the results of startup support activities in recent years, and the mechanism to support Tra Vinh University students in starting a business.
Through the content of the cooperation agreement, the two sides commit to closely coordinating innovation activities, sharing resources and experiences, and organizing events, seminars, training courses, and internships. Entrepreneurship training equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to confidently enter the entrepreneurial path, build a startup ecosystem, and create a favourable environment for startup projects to develop.
