(TVU) -On March 21st, Tra Vinh University (TVU) had a meeting within the scope of collaborative exchange with Pasteur Institute, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting, two sides discussed various areas related to academic activities, practice, scientific research, faculty member and experts exchange in medical field.
Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, TVU Vice Rector said, “TVU is putting much investment for the development of medical and pharmaceutical area, in which health care for people is put in top priority. In addition, he hopes that two parties will soon reach a collaborative agreement in the future”.
“Pasteur Institute is willing to establish collaboration with Tra Vinh University at some areas including community health, pharmacy, medical testing, etc. and short-term courses” Dr. Hoang Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director of Training Center, Pasteur Institute, Ho Chi Minh City said.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham The Hien, Director of Center for training human resources for health according to social needs, Tra Vinh University said that training human resources for health in Tra Vinh province in particular and in the Mekong Delta in general was an essential demand, and two sides’ collaboration is surely meeting learners’ needs at the local community.
