(TVU) – On January 5th, 2022, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Tra Vinh University Vice-Rector and Mr. Tran Thanh Luyen, Viet Long Medical Co., Ltd Director signed a cooperation agreement witnessed by Dr. Duong Thi Truyen, Dean of School of Odonto-Stomatology, and its lecturers as well as representatives of TVU departments. On this occasion, Viet Long Medical Co., Ltd also sponsored TVU Odonto-Stomatology students for dental materials, equivalent to 100 million VND/year, and the sponsorship will last for five years.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Director of Viet Long Medical Co., Ltd., has pledged to sponsor dental materials to Odonto-Stomatology 5th year and final-year students within five years to facilitate their preclinical and clinical learning.
Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa expressed his sincere thanks to Viet Long Medical Co., Ltd for this kind support. He hopes that the company will continue accompanying Tra Vinh University in upcoming activities.
Dr. Duong Thi Truyen, Dean of the School of Odonto-Stomatology, shared that TVU had previously invested in a specialized practice area for Odonto-Stomatology students, including dental chairs, pre-clinical and clinical practice rooms, as well as modern prosthetic labs to meet the needs of the practice, examination, and treatment. She highly appreciated the sponsorship from the company and said that the School of Odonto-Stomatology will actively support the evaluation and feedback on the sponsored products during the practice.
Furthermore, the School of Odonto-Stomatology proposed that Viet Long Medical Co., Ltd collaborates to open a training course on “Anti-infection” for doctors and patients via an online mode to provide the community with more medical knowledge.
