TVU – Tra Vinh University celebrates a significant milestone as it confers bachelor’s degrees to 401 graduates from its 2020, 2021, and 2022 work-study programs in a ceremony held on October 12, 2024.
The event is graced by key university officials, including Dr. Thach Thi Dan and Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, both Vice Rectors; Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung and Mr. Le Van Don, Vice Chairmen of the Board of Directors and Former Vice-Rectors. Representatives from various departments, faculties, institutes, schools, and university-affiliated centers are also present to honor the graduates.
The ceremony is further distinguished by the presence of leaders from partner institutions, highlighting Tra Vinh University’s strong collaborative network. These include representatives from Mai Linh College, An Giang Ethnic Minority Boarding Vocational School, An Giang Provincial Continuing Education Center, Mekong International College, Tien Giang Medical College, Kien Giang College, Go Cong College, Nguyen Huu Canh College of Economics and Technology, and several other educational institutions.
In his address, Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, commends the graduates for persevering in overcoming challenges to complete their studies. He expresses confidence in their future success, crediting their determination and the comprehensive education provided by the university. Dr. Nghia also extends gratitude to the various organizations, individuals, local authorities, and partner institutions for their crucial support in the program’s success.
Representing the graduating class, Ly Man Hoang, a Primary Education major from the class of 2021, expresses heartfelt thanks to the faculty and families for their unwavering support. He particularly acknowledges the practical skills imparted by the teachers, which are crucial for the graduates’ future contributions to their workplaces and society.
This graduation ceremony marks the successful completion of 401 students across nine diverse majors: Pharmacy, Accounting, Preschool Education, Primary Education, English Language, Business Administration, Nursing, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology.
