TVU – May 19, 2024 – Tra Vinh University (TVU) participates in the program “Thắp sáng ước mơ – Ươm mầm khởi nghiệp – Vững bước tương lai” (Lighting Up Dreams – Incubating Startups – Firmly Stepping into the Future) at Le Qui Don High School, Binh Dai District, Ben Tre Province. The university awarded scholarships, provided career guidance, and motivated students to pursue their educational aspirations.
Mr. Nguyen Dong Khoi, Head of the Communication and Community Promotion Department and a representative of Tra Vinh University, awarded a scholarship to student Nguyen Chi Tai of Le Qui Don High School, Ben Tre province.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Community Promotion, represented Tra Vinh University to award scholarships to students who overcome challenges and excel in their studies.
Mr. Nguyen Duy, Deputy Head of the Dormitory Management Board, represented the School to award scholarships to students who overcome challenges and excel in their studies.
At the program, Tra Vinh University awarded an excellent student, Nguyen Chi Tai, a scholarship worth 5 million VND, 10 scholarships worth 500 thousand VND each, and gifts to promising students who overcome challenges in learning at Le Qui Don High School.
Mr. Nguyen Dong Khoi, the representative of Tra Vinh University, said: “Tra Vinh University is very honoured to accompany this meaningful program. The activity creates conditions for students to overcome difficulties and continue pursuing their educational dreams.”
On behalf of Le Qui Don High School, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, Principal, thanked Tra Vinh University and the program’s sponsors. He hoped that the sponsors would continue to support the School, create learning motivation for students, encourage their learning spirits, and help them have better learning opportunities.
Dr. Nguyen Tan Thanh, Head of the Faculty of Tourism Management, Hotel and Restaurant—School of Southern Khmer Language, Culture, Arts and Humanities (Tra Vinh University), joined students and alums of Le Qui Don High School, Ben Tre province, in the exchange and career counselling session.
The program included career counselling activities for more than 200 students, exchanges with examples of overcoming challenges and success, and helped students orient their future after graduation.
