TVU – The Youth Union of the College of Medicine and Pharmacy (CMP) and the Staff-Faculty Youth Union of Tra Vinh University organize the “Spring of Love 2025” program on January 18, 2025, visiting and presenting gifts to elderly individuals living alone, disadvantaged families, and people with disabilities in Hung Hoa commune, Tieu Can district, Tra Vinh province. The program distributes over 50 gift packages containing essential items (rice, instant noodles, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and cooking oil) with a total value exceeding 23 million VND.
Mr. Le Thanh Cuong, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hung Hoa Commune People’s Committee, shares: “This is a highly practical and meaningful program demonstrating volunteer spirit and collective effort in caring for elderly individuals living alone, disadvantaged families, and people with disabilities.”
On behalf of the Staff-Faculty Youth Union, Mr. Hua Minh Nhut, Standing Committee Member, expresses gratitude to sponsoring units, including the CMP Youth Union, Staff-Faculty Youth Union, Party Cell 22, University Hospital Youth Union, Trade Union Groups 4 and 6, and the Institute of Resource Development Youth Union for their support in successfully implementing this program.
This initiative represents a practical effort to address local challenges by supporting elderly individuals living alone, disadvantaged families, and people with disabilities in Hung Hoa commune, Tra Cu district, Tra Vinh province. The Staff-Faculty Youth Union and CMP Youth Union plan to continue mobilizing and collaborating with sponsors and organizations within and outside the university to organize future volunteer programs promoting social welfare and community service.
