(TVU) – On February 19, 2025, Tra Vinh University hosted a project completion ceremony for a waterproofing initiative implemented in collaboration with Pentech Company from February 16-18, 2025. The event marked a significant milestone in practical education and industry-academic partnership.
The ceremony was attended by prominent university leadership, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa (Rector), Dr. Thach Thi Dan (Vice Rector), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung (Vice Rector), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa (King Sejong Institute Director) and Mr. Park Jong Arm, Institute Manager.
Representing Pentech Company were Mr. Kim Jin Soo (CEO), Ms. Sol Eunghee, Engineers Ko Ri Ha and Im Ho Teak, and other professional architects and engineers who participated in the project.
The waterproofing project was executed at the residence of Mr. Huynh Van Hiep in Ward 1, Tra Vinh City, with involvement from the King Sejong Institute, construction faculty members, and students. The initiative aimed to improve infrastructure quality while providing students practical exposure to modern waterproofing technologies and entrepreneurial experiences.
In his remarks, Rector Nguyen Minh Hoa expressed profound gratitude to Pentech Company, architects, engineers, and especially the students who contributed to the project’s success. Pentech CEO Kim Jin Soo reciprocated by congratulating the students and thanking the university for its enthusiastic collaboration.
The university concluded the ceremony by presenting certificates and honoring individuals and teams who successfully implemented the project, highlighting the strong partnership between academic institutions and industry partners.
This event underscores Tra Vinh University’s commitment to providing practical, hands-on learning experiences that bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
