(TVU) – On October 4, 2024, Tra Vinh University hands over a charity house to the family of Ms. Thach Thi Hoa My in Dau Giong B Hamlet, Phuoc Hung Commune, Tra Cu District, Tra Vinh Province.
The handover ceremony is attended by Mr. Nguyen Gia Hien, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phuoc Hung Commune, and representatives of the local government and residents.
Representing Tra Vinh University, Dr. Thach Thi Dan – Vice Rector, University’s Trade Union Executive Committee members, and faculty representatives are present.
The newly constructed spacious house is built on Ms. Thach Thi Hoa My’s family land, with a total funding of 40 million VND mobilized from various organizations and individuals by Tra Vinh University.
Donating charity houses to those facing housing difficulties is a meaningful project and part of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Phuoc Hung Commune, Tra Cu District. The house is a practical gift, providing families a stable environment to overcome challenges and progress.
Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of the University, states: “Throughout the charity house project, the University has consistently received support from sponsors and benefactors. Additionally, the local government has always provided optimal conditions, motivating the University to strive to implement numerous meaningful projects and tasks in the future. The Vice Rector expresses gratitude to the sponsors and local authorities, hoping that all connections, support, and assistance from the units will result in more spacious houses for disadvantaged individuals.”
Mr. Nguyen Gia Hien, Vice Chairman of Phuoc Hung Commune People’s Committee, thanks Tra Vinh University and the sponsors for assisting Ms. Thach Thi Hoa My’s family. He describes this as meaningful work, joining hands with the locality to support people in difficult circumstances in securing stable housing.
The family of Mrs. Thach Thi Hoa My is moved to express their gratitude to the University, local authorities, and sponsors for enabling the family to have a new, beautiful, and cozy house, allowing them to work with peace of mind.
