Tra Vinh University gives gifts to students in need

(TVU) – On May 24, 2024, Tra Vinh University’s Party Committee and Board presents 7 bicycles, 5,000 notebooks, and 20 desk lamps to underprivileged students in Truong Long Hoa Commune, Duyen Hai Town, Tra Vinh Province. These are warm gifts from the university’s staff, the Youth Union, the Trade Union, and other sponsors to the students in honor of the 2023 – 2024 school year. 

 The delegation included Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University; Ms. Quach Thi Vu Hue, Party Committee member, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the School’s Party Committee, and representatives of TVU’s units.
At the ceremony, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, said: “These gifts represent Tra Vinh University’s support and encouragement for students facing hardships, inspiring them to persevere with their studies and become productive members of society.”
On behalf of the Party Committee and the local government, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Linh, Vice Chairman of the Truong Long Hoa Commune People’s Committee, expressed his gratitude to the Board of Tra Vinh University and the sponsors for giving these meaningful gifts to the students in difficult circumstances. Furthermore, he hoped that these supports would serve as an additional motivation for the students to strive harder and make progress in their personal development.
