On May 8th, 2012, TVU held a workshop on building training programs of Medical Testing Technology and Nursing aiming to make a preparation for the new courses in 2012.

At the workshop, TVU was honored to welcome the presentation of many physicians from diffrent hospitals such as Le Thi Hoa Binh MD.PhD-Former Deputy Director of Thong Nhat Hospital HCM, Hoang Van Tien MD.PhD- Deputy Head of Department for Protection of Child Care, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Pham Trung Ha- Former Head of Medical Testing office, Thong Nhat Hospital HCM and other physicians. The workshop also received a few physicians from Tra Vinh General hospital such as Nguyen Thi Nga MD, Deputy Director of Tra Vinh General Hospital, Huynh Bach Tuyet MD and other physicians.

At TVU side, Mr. Tran Hoan Kim- President of TVU Advisory Board, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- Rector of TVU, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung- Vice Rector of TVU, Hoang Khai Lap MD.PhD- Head of Medical Faculty and other related leader representatives of TVU offices and departments.
At this meeting, the participants discussed and gave many valuable contributing opinions for the training programs of Medical Testing Technology and Nursing such as the training program should be focused on practice, the medical instruments for experiments should be well-equipped, etc.
On behalf of TVU leaders, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh expressed his deep gratitude to the participants for their contribution and opinions at the workshop and departments in Tra Vinh for their support. Dr. Khanh believes that with the supporting of many physicians and departments the first courses specializing in Medical Testing Technology and Nursing of TVU will gain the required quality.

On this occasion, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh also published the decisions for members of Program Advisory Committee of Medical Testing and Nursing, the decision for forming department of Medical testing and the decision for assigning Dr.Pham Trung Ha to be Head of Department of Medical Testing.
