In the afternoon of February 29th, 2012, the workshop on “problems and solutions to improve the quality of training management” was held at Workshop 4, Campus I of TVU.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung – Vice Rector of TVU delivered the opening speech. In his speech, Mr. Dung emphasized that improving the quality of training management is the issue that all leaders of TVU give special attention.
In his presentation at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Bao An – an IT lecturer pointed out the drawbacks of the previous training management process and proposed a computerized training management program. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Van gave the presentation on roles of lecturers and their influences to the quality of education. She suggested building a teaching staff with high qualification, seniority in teaching, having good scientific researching skills, etc. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan presented about higher education policy, management issues in universities. Other presentations about the solutions to improve the quality of training management at TVU were also given at the workshop.
The workshop lasted four hours with different contributing opinions of the attendants. The ideas on computerized training management, training methods to stimulate the self-studying, self-researching, creativity, practical skills of learners, issues about policies, training management were mentioned most.
The ideas and solutions given at the workshop will contribute to the training management of TVU be more improved suited with the quality testing system ISO 9001: 2008 and will help TVU become a training organization with high quality and prestige in the community.
