Tra Vinh University hosts 2024 Student Informatics Olympiad

TVU – Tra Vinh University’s School of Engineering and Technology successfully conducts the 2024 TVU Student Olympiad in Informatics on October 10, drawing over 30 enthusiastic contestants.

The competition is overseen by a distinguished panel of judges led by Dr. Nguyen Bao An, Deputy Head of the Department of Information Technology, serving as the Head of the jury. MSc. Vo Thanh C takes on the role of Deputy Head of the jury, supported by other esteemed members.

Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Head of the School of Engineering and Technology, delivers an inspiring opening speech, commending the students’ competitive spirit. He emphasizes, “This Olympiad is more than just a platform for students to showcase their talents. It’s a crucial opportunity for our university to assess the quality of our training programs and identify young talents. We aim to nurture these bright minds and select outstanding students to represent Tra Vinh University at the National Informatics Olympiad in Hanoi. Moreover, this event fosters a valuable environment for students to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and learn from each other’s experiences.”

The competition concludes with impressive results:

  • First Prize: Vo Tan Phat, Information Technology D class, 2023 intake
  • Second Prize: Duong Bao Khanh, Information Technology A class, 2022 intake
  • Third Prize: Nguyen Duc Manh, Information Technology A class, 2021 intake
