Tra Vinh University hosts DACUM Workshop for Primary Education Program enhancement

TVU – Tra Vinh University hosts a Developing A Curriculum (DACUM) workshop on July 18 to analyze professional competencies for the primary education undergraduate program. The event brings together managers, recruiters, experts, faculty leaders, and alumni to contribute valuable insights.

Dr. Phan Thi No, Dean of the Faculty of Education, School of Southern Khmer Language, Culture, Arts and Humanity, emphasizes the importance of curriculum improvement for enhancing educational quality. She highlights DACUM as a powerful tool for achieving this goal.

 

The workshop receives over 50 contributions from participants, focusing on the primary teacher competency framework. This framework includes:
(1) Professional competencies
(2) Work and personal development skills
(3) Personal qualities

Through discussions and proposals, the workshop aims to refine and elevate the quality of primary teacher training, meeting society’s workforce demands.
