TVU – On March 14, 2025, Tra Vinh University collaborates with Tam Viet Education Joint Stock Company from Ho Chi Minh City to organize a recruitment event for engineers and specified skilled worker program in Japan for more than 150 students from mechanical engineering and automotive fields, alumni, and individuals from Tra Vinh Province.
Attendees include Mr. Nguyen Van Chau, Head of the Employment Department – Department of Internal Affairs of Tra Vinh Province; Mr. Duong Van Binh, Chairman and CEO of Tam Viet Education; Mr. Takahashi Masashi, Deputy Director of Tam Viet Education – Representative in charge of Hyogo Mitsubishi Motors client relations in Japan.
From Tra Vinh University, participants include Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong, Director of the Career Center; Dr. Cao Thi Hong Cam, Director of Victory Informatics and Foreign Language Center; Mr. Nhan Minh Phuc, Deputy Director of Victory Informatics and Foreign Language Center; Mr. Tran Van Dien, Deputy Dean of the School of Engineering & Technology, along with more than 150 students from mechanical engineering and automotive fields, alumni, and individuals from Tra Vinh Province.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Cao Thi Hong Cam, Director of Victory Informatics and Foreign Language Center, states: “Participating in this program helps students, especially final-year students, explore and expand career options in the Japanese labor market. Through this, students can discover and identify their abilities, strengths, and passions, shape their career preferences, develop directional thinking, and make plans for the future.”
Mr. Duong Van Binh, Chairman and CEO of Tam Viet Education, shares: “Through this introduction session, Tam Viet Education aims to fulfill its mission of contributing to career guidance, connecting high-quality job opportunities, and elevating the quality of Vietnamese human resources in the Japanese market so they can return to develop their homeland, including Tra Vinh Province. This also allows students to access a modern and professional international working environment, thereby building careers in potential fields.”
Mr. Takahashi Masashi, Deputy Director of Tam Viet Education and Representative in charge of Hyogo Mitsubishi Motors client relations in Japan, introduces the company, welfare benefits, recruitment requirements, and the application process for automotive maintenance and repair and mechanical engineering positions in Japan.
During the program, students ask questions and listen to in-depth experiences and advice from trainees who have successfully entered the Mitsubishi engineer program, test themselves with IQ assessments, participate in selection interviews, and engage with experts to learn more about work opportunities in Japan.
Kim Vi Khang, a 2020 Automotive Technology undergraduate student, says: “The program provides useful information and new perspectives on Japan’s automotive maintenance and repair industry. Through this program, I have gained clearer direction for my future, enabling me to confidently equip myself with adequate knowledge, skills, and mindset to pursue higher goals.”
