The College of Khmer Southern Language-Culture-Arts and Humanities (CLASKA) at Tra Vinh University organized the first “Testing Knowledge of Vietnam’s Heritage” competition on April 26, 2025. The event attracted many contestants and featured attendance from CLASKA’s management board, Youth Union, Student Association, tourism businesses, alumni, and supporting students.ย
Dr. Nguyen Thi Hue, Vice Rector of CLASKA, emphasized that the competition serves as an opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge as long-term preparation for future studies and careers, while reminding everyone that Vietnam offers much to discover.

The competition provided an intellectual platform for students to demonstrate their understanding of Vietnam’s history, geography, culture, people, and tourism potential. The event aimed to spread positive values to the younger generation while developing critical thinking skills and fostering love and responsibility for their homeland. Contestants submitted 16 presentations featuring notable locations including Independence Palace, Ho Dynasty Citadel, Cu Chi Tunnels, Dragon Wharf, Hmong King Palace, Ba Om Pond, Ha Long Bay, Ben Hai River – Hien Luong Bridge, Khai Dinh Tomb, Christ the King Statue, Brau ethnic group, Hoi An Ancient Town, Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Phuoc Minh Palace, and Dien Huu Pagoda.
Six outstanding students received awards in the competition: First Prize went to Tuan Kiet from DA23QDL class; Second Prize to Nguyen Quoc Hiep from DA22QDL class; Third Prize to Thach Thi Thuy An from DA23QDL class; two Consolation Prizes to Kim Thi Ngoc Huyen from DA23QDL class and Chau Hoai Khanh from DA24QDL class; and the Talented Contestant Prize to Kim Trang Thien Ngan from DA23QDL class. Beyond the main competition, the organizing committee incorporated fun activities including gifts for lucky audience members, voting for the most popular talented contestant, champion predictions, and energetic games for students in the auditorium.
