Tra Vinh University hosts workshop on career choices

Tra Vinh University organizes a workshop titled “Starting a Career or Starting a Business in the Context of Government Streamlining” combined with the 6th anniversary celebration of the Entrepreneurship Club on April 28.

The event attracts over 150 students with distinguished guests including representatives from the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, Department of Science and Technology, Viettel Tra Vinh, and entrepreneurship experts from various institutions.

Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, emphasizes the importance of adapting mindsets and strategies in the current economic environment.

Expert speakers deliver presentations on crucial topics, including the differences between entrepreneurship and career development, turning ideas into businesses while still in university, creating career opportunities through internships, navigating entrepreneurship challenges amid government streamlining, and building professional networks. Each presentation provides students with practical insights and strategies for their future endeavors.

The event also celebrates the 6th anniversary of the Entrepreneurship Club, with 54 individuals receiving recognition for their contributions to the entrepreneurship movement. Beyond knowledge enhancement, the workshop creates valuable networking opportunities between students, experts, and entrepreneurs, strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit within the Tra Vinh University community.
