(TVU) – Tra Vinh University hosts the international scientific conference “Research Issues in Engineering and Technology – RET 2024” on June 22. The conference focuses on topics in information technology, electrical engineering, electronics, automation, construction, mechanical engineering, and mechatronics.
Over 150 delegates attend the event, including scientists, scholars, experts, engineers, and experienced lecturers from domestic and international universities. Notable attendees include Professor Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector; Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector; and Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
In his opening speech, Rector Nguyen Minh Hoa emphasizes that the conference is a forum for researchers, lecturers, and students to share research results, experiences, and visions in various engineering fields.
The conference features 40 high-quality papers in parallel sessions and four keynote speeches by international experts. Keynote topics include AI applications in modelling complex physical systems, shaping the future of engineering and technology, excellence in research at TVU, and exploring social media security using data science.
Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, notes that RET 2024 is an annual event connecting domestic and international scientists. It also provides a platform for presenting applied research results from various institutions. Papers meeting the conference requirements will be published in proceedings with an ISBN.
During the event, Tra Vinh University awards Dr. Phillip Michael Adams an honorary professorship.
The conference aims to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and promote advancements in engineering and technology fields. It highlights Tra Vinh University’s commitment to international academic exchange and cutting-edge research.
