(TVU) – Tra Vinh University demonstrates its commitment to student career development by organizing a comprehensive career counseling and orientation session in partnership with four prominent companies on October 29, 2024. The event culminates in signing cooperation memorandums with Continental Textile Co., Ltd., Regza Electronics Co., Ltd., JOBSNEW Joint Stock Company, and ENDLESS Trading and Service Co., Ltd.
Distinguished corporate representatives attending the event include Mr. Lijin, Assistant Director of Human Resources from Continental Textile Co., Ltd. (Tay Ninh); Mr. Yu Chao, Head of Human Resources at Regza Electronics Co., Ltd. (Dong Nai); Mr. Vo Tan Phat, Chairman of JOBSNEW Joint Stock Company (Can Tho); and Mr. Gip Ung Tay, Director of ENDLESS Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City).
TVU’s delegation is led by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector, alongside representatives from various academic departments, including the College of Economics – Law, College of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanities, College of Medicine and Pharmacy, and School of Engineering and Technology. Additional participation comes from the Center of Excellence in Learning Resources and Innovation, Institute of Resource Development, Department of International Cooperation, and Center for Career.
“Bringing quality learning opportunities to community remains our guiding principle,” says Dr. Thach Thi Dan. She emphasizes TVU’s comprehensive range of training programs, continuously updated to align with industry trends and innovations in the industrial and agricultural sectors.
The event provides TVU students valuable insights into potential career paths while completing their studies. The program facilitates direct connections between students and internship opportunities through the Co-op model, matching their skills with corporate recruitment needs.
Participating companies present diverse employment opportunities for TVU students. Continental Textile Co., Ltd. announces 200 sales and other position openings, while Regza Electronics Co., Ltd. seeks partnerships for electronic manufacturing roles. ENDLESS Trading and Service Company Limited offers international opportunities, including foreign language training for students interested in positions in Japan and Germany.

The event concludes with signing memorandums of understanding (MoU) between TVU and the corporate partners, establishing frameworks for training programs, internships, and graduate recruitment.
