TVU – Tra Vinh University organizes a seminar titled “The role of artificial intelligence (AI) for today’s students: Virtual and Real, Companion and Competitor” on June 27, 2024. The event, held at the Tra Vinh Business Incubator, attracts experts and students from the university.
Speakers include Dr. Nguyen Bao An, Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department, School of Engineering and Technology, and Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Lecturer at the School of Economics and Law. Representing the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of Tra Vinh Business Incubator and TVU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and Vice Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial Entrepreneurship Advisory Council.
Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An states, “Through this program, we aim to help students better understand AI concepts, its benefits, and its limitations in human life, and encourage them to utilize AI appropriately for learning, business, and daily life.”
During the seminar, experts highlight AI’s power in education, emphasizing students’ need to grasp AI while maintaining creativity and independent thinking. They stress that students can thrive in the future by balancing AI’s supportive role with human ingenuity.
Tran Nguyen Thuy Duy, a 2022 Early Childhood Education student, shares that the seminar provides insights into AI’s potential for enhancing learning capabilities and preparing for the future. Duy is particularly impressed by the experts’ discussions on using AI to personalize learning and as a tool for study and daily work.
The seminar offers students a platform to explore AI’s implications in their academic and professional lives, encouraging thoughtful integration of this technology in their future endeavors.
