(TVU) – Tra Vinh University organizes the “Effective water management – Sustainable solutions in climate change context” workshop, attracting over 30 students, young lecturers, and water technology experts.
Professor Harry Futselaar, Director of the International Water Technology Institute at Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), delivers the keynote speech. Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Bich, Vice Director of the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, represents Tra Vinh University.
In his presentation, Professor Futselaar emphasizes water’s critical role in energy security, food production, and economic development. He highlights the importance of intelligent and sustainable water management as a crucial societal responsibility, especially for younger generations.

Advanced Water Treatment Technologies: Modern household water filtration systems, UV disinfection technology, Water recycling models from various sources
Sustainable Water Management Solutions: The aquaponics model combines aquaculture and hydroponic vegetable cultivation, innovative water collection and reuse strategies, and reduced environmental pollution through smart water usage.
Students actively participate in discussions and explore practical applications at the STARS Water Center, showcasing creative ideas for water conservation and efficient resource management.
