Tra Vinh University hosts vibrant Lunar New Year 2025 celebration series

TVU – In celebration of the Vietnamese Communist Party’s 95th founding anniversary (February 3, 1930–2025) and Lunar New Year 2025, Tra Vinh University (TVU) is organizing a series of meaningful and festive activities for its academic community.

Students showcase their creativity through a traditional Tet culinary competition, where they prepare holiday snacks and sweets while learning about ancestral customs. This event strengthens bonds among TVU’s student body.

The university distributes over 200 scholarships and Tet gifts to underprivileged students and those unable to travel home for the holiday, demonstrating TVU’s commitment to student welfare.

A highlight of the celebration is the “Celebrating the Spring” concert at Hall D5, where TVU students display their artistic talents through dynamic performances.

Traditional games and creative contests add to the festive atmosphere, with activities including tug-of-war competitions, sack races, and spring-themed art and writing challenges. These events create a culturally rich environment on campus.

The celebration serves multiple purposes: fostering holiday joy, cultivating patriotic values, and promoting national pride. It also reflects TVU leadership’s dedication to student well-being and community engagement.

Event Details:

  • Duration: January 10–19, 2025
  • Location: TVU Campus I
  • Registration: Student Affairs Office

The university invites everyone to participate in these spring celebrations.
