(TVU) – On the morning of January 27, 2019, Tra Vinh University (TVU) Hospital was inaugurated and officially put into operation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector and leaders from Ho Chi Minh City and Tra Vinh province attended this import event.
The Hospital was established under the framework of the project of building TVU School of Medicine and Pharmacy. In addition to providing health care services for people with professional human resources, this hospital also meets training needs for TVU as it offers students of the school of Medicine and Pharmacy with good environment for practice and study at this hospital.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee was delighted with the current development of Tra Vinh University. He said: “This is a vital event proving that Tra Vinh University is on the right way toward training of quality human resources for society as it will improve students in their profession through practice.”
TVU Rector gave his big thanks to the leaders who have provided TVU with great support in the establishment of this hospital. The Rector always hopes that this healthcare service will contribute to the overall development of TVU in the years to come.
