Tra Vinh University successfully organizes the first Olympic Contest on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in 2025, attracting 484 students from various faculties and departments. The event creates an engaging and meaningful platform for students passionate about political theory.
Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasizes that the contest helps students strengthen their knowledge, critical thinking, and practical application of political theories, boosting their confidence and determination.
The contest includes fundamental topics such as Marxist-Leninist Philosophy, Political Economy, Scientific Socialism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Participants answer multiple-choice questions directly on computers, with rankings determined by accuracy and speed. The well-designed content reflects current political and social issues, encouraging students to think critically and apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations.
At the award ceremony, student Duong Huu Quang wins first prize, followed by Tran Thuy Oanh in second place. Two third prizes go to Nguyen Tran Ngoc Cam and Thach Chane Thu, alongside 20 consolation prizes. Dr. Thach Thi Dan praises the studentsโ dedication and highlights the contest as a valuable measure of their learning and research quality in political theory, contributing to the universityโs growing academic achievements.
