(TVU) – On the morning of March 3, the Tra Vinh Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Tra Vinh Provincial Border Guard Command to organize the 2025 training launch ceremony.
The ceremony included comrade Le Van Han, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command; representatives of agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command, Military Commands of districts, towns, and cities; leaders of departments, offices, stations, and units under the Provincial Border Guard and over 700 officers and soldiers.

Representing the Board of Directors of Tra Vinh University were Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice-Rector of the University, and 110 students of Tra Vinh University.
Accordingly, there are 14 groups (participating teams) participating in the practice of reviewing the team for the 2025 training launch ceremony, including officers and professional soldiers in the General Staff Department, Political Department, Logistics – Technical Department under the Provincial Military Command; Mechanized Reconnaissance Company and Information Platoon, each unit forms a group; two groups of officers and professional soldiers under the Provincial Border Guard Command; two groups of officers, professional soldiers and militiamen under the District Military Command and 02 groups of students from Tra Vinh University.


Mr. Truong Minh Hai, Deputy Director of the Center for National Defense and Security Education of Tra Vinh University, said: “To prepare well for the 2025 training launch ceremony, the Center proactively coordinated with the Student Affairs Department to select male and female students. The team review is a significant content that requires neat formation, ranks, and unified movements to demonstrate the strength of the provincial armed forces, showing the determination to complete the training mission in 2025. “
Student Huynh Thi Que Minh, class of Primary Education A, 2021, shared: “We are very honored to be selected by the school to participate in training with officers and soldiers of the provincial military force and the Border Guard. Although the weather on the first days was not favorable, with a sense of responsibility, self-discipline in training, and serious practice, we contributed to the success of the 2025 training launch ceremony.”
The National Defense and Security Education Center of Tra Vinh University is one of three National Defense and Security Education Centers authorized to organize national defense and security education activities for students in the Mekong Delta region. Notably, the National Defense and Security Education Center of Tra Vinh University was assigned by the Ministry of National Defense to provide national defence and security education to students of 11 universities and colleges in the provinces of Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Tien Giang, and Ben Tre with a current capacity of about 8,600 students. The Center is expected to have about 15,000 students in 2025 and about 22,000 students in 2030.
