TVU – The initiative responds to the Prime Minister’s “Student Entrepreneurship Support Project 2025” (Project 1665), demonstrating TVU’s strong commitment to enhancing education quality and preparing high-quality human resources for the region. In collaboration with the Mekong Delta Student Entrepreneurship Support Network, the project focuses on knowledge transfer and inspiring youth ambition.
In its initial phase (November-December 2024), the project reaches more than 1,440 students and teachers across nine high schools in the Mekong Delta, including schools in Vinh Long, Ben Tre, Soc Trang, Kien Giang provinces, and Can Tho City. The program emphasizes innovative thinking development, entrepreneurial idea refinement, and support for students participating in various entrepreneurship competitions.
TVU’s experienced faculty members lead sessions on creative thinking, innovation tools, brainstorming techniques, reverse thinking, and business tools. Students also learn about design thinking, including its three core benefits, principles, practicality, and development process.
Ms. Do Ngoc Nhi, a 10th-grade Thieu Van Choi High School student, shares: “The program helps us shape our future, identify our strengths, and explore creative ideas through various thinking methodologies. The knowledge about business models and idea presentation enhances our understanding of idea development.”
Ms. Ha Thi Kim Thoa, Vice Principal of Huynh Tan Phat High School, notes: “The program is both meaningful and practical, not only providing new entrepreneurship knowledge but also igniting students’ creative spirit and entrepreneurial aspirations.”
Survey results show impressive satisfaction rates: 96% of students and teachers express satisfaction with the program content, 91% recognize its practical applicability, and 100% of teachers confirm the methodology suits high school students’ psychology and needs.
Looking ahead to 2025, TVU plans to expand the project to reach its goal of supporting 10,000 students. The university commits to enhancing content, optimizing organization methods, and strengthening connections with high schools to ensure the project’s continued positive impact on young generations.
