TVU – On March 14, Tra Vinh University collaborates with Southern Leyte State University to host the International Conference on Education and Training for Sustainability (CETS 2025). The conference attracts over 150 participants, including scientists, experts, education managers, and lecturers from Philippines, Cambodia, China, USA, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Australia.
The conference features 75 selected papers from 137 submissions, focusing on three key areas: (1) Educational Management and International Educational Cooperation, (2) Early Childhood, Special, and General Education, (3) Higher Education, Language Education, Skills, and Vocational Training.
Speakers from various countries present advanced educational research and models, sharing effective training strategies to enhance academic quality and pursue sustainable development.
In his keynote speech, Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of Tra Vinh University’s Council, emphasizes education’s critical role as a development foundation and a key to addressing global challenges, reflecting the university’s aspiration for sustainable educational development.
Prof. Dr. Mark B. Galdo from Southern Leyte State University introduces a contextual pedagogical model in higher education, presenting an innovative approach to teaching program design.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa from Tra Vinh University highlights the importance of COIL as a bridge between globalization and local needs in innovative education for sustainable development.
The conference includes three parallel sessions with in-depth presentations on various educational topics, covering design thinking, technology integration, pedagogical practices, and emerging educational approaches.
Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, acknowledges the significant contributions of researchers, creating a meaningful academic space that not only enhances conference quality but also opens collaboration opportunities between researchers and educational institutions worldwide.
