In a prestigious ceremony at the Vietnam – Soviet Friendship Palace of Culture and Labour, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thai Son from Tra Vinh University emerges as a beacon of educational excellence, receiving the coveted “Outstanding Teacher” title for 2024.
The awarding ceremony had the attendance of Mr. Bui Quang Huy, the First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Kim Son – Minister of Education and Training, and representatives of departments, bureaus, and units under the Ministry of Education and Training. The program also welcomed the presence of representatives of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, reporters from many press agencies, and 337 outstanding teachers, People’s Teachers and Meritorious Teachers awarded by the Minister on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the event aims to honor and show gratitude to teachers who have made outstanding contributions to the cause of education. This is not only an opportunity to affirm the role of teachers in fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation but also to spread bright examples to encourage the teaching staff to continue to complete their assigned tasks excellently.
Sharing his feelings about the award ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thai Son said: “I feel extremely honored and proud to receive recognition not only from students and colleagues but also from the Ministry of Education and Training and the entire education sector. This title is the result of the efforts and dedication of the staff and lecturers of Tra Vinh University. I am just the representative who receives it. For me, this is also a great responsibility. In the coming time, I will continue to do my best to be more worthy of students’ trust, the education sector, and the country.”
The event ended in a solemn and warm atmosphere, leaving many emotions and motivation for teachers to continue to dedicate themselves to the cause of educating people.
