TVU – Mr. Do Anh Dat, a lecturer from the College of Economics and Law at Tra Vinh University, has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Educator at the national level in 2024; the 4th award ceremony is hosted by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union from November 13 to 14 in Hanoi.

Mr. Dat has made notable contributions to professional activities, scientific research, and community service. His scholarly works, in particular, have been published in prestigious domestic journals indexed by the State Council for Professors in October 2022 and August 2024. In addition, he has served as the chief editor of teaching materials for the Office Equipment Usage course, supervised university-level research projects, and participated in developing the Overview of Office Management textbook.
Since 2022, Mr. Dat has achieved numerous accolades, including being recognized as a Party member, fulfilling his duties excellently, and earning the Advanced Laborer title in 2023. He was also honored by the Tra Vinh Red Cross for donating blood 10 times and received an award from the Tra Vinh Youth Union for securing second place in the “Tra Vinh Through My Eyes” photo and video contest. His video inspired a positive social media trend among youth in 2023.

Moreover, Mr. Do Anh Dat has been commended for his contributions to youth and student movements at Tra Vinh University. He earned certificates of merit for his outstanding work in youth union activities during the 2021–2022 and 2022–2023 academic years. He was recognized as an Outstanding Youth Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings at Tra Vinh University in 2024.
The Outstanding Young Educator Awards is an annual event presented by the Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to commemorate Vietnam Teachers’ Day on November 20. The award is open to Vietnamese educators under 35 actively teaching in institutions within the national education system. The organizers received 286 nominations from 66 67 provincial and municipal youth unions this year. After rigorous evaluation, 100 outstanding educators were selected for the prestigious award.
