TVU – Lecturers from Tra Vinh University are participating in a groundbreaking workshop to improve the quality of training and professional practice for students in E-commerce and Digital Economy. The event, taking place at Gia Dinh University in Ho Chi Minh City, brings together academic and industry leaders to address the evolving needs of digital education.
Organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) in collaboration with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam E-commerce Training Network (VECOMNET), the workshop attracts over 200 lecturers from universities and colleges across the Southern region.
Key attendees include Ms. Lai Viet Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Chairman of VECOM, and representatives from various organizations and enterprises.
The workshop focuses on several critical areas: discussing and developing e-commerce knowledge and skills training for educators at universities, colleges, and vocational high schools; expanding a network of experienced lecturers and experts in e-commerce education; increasing practical content in digital technology digital economy, and digital society training programs; introducing digital platforms and technologies, with a special emphasis on Vietnamese innovations, into curricula to provide students with hands-on experience.
Tra Vinh University lecturers are gaining valuable insights into:
