TVU – On June 3, 2024, Tra Vinh University (TVU) forges strategic partnerships with Mekong Delta Human Resources Development Trading Co., Ltd. and AKANE Human Resources Co., Ltd., two renowned Japanese companies, to expand internship and job opportunities for Vietnamese students in Japan.
A delegation led by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong, Director of the Center of Career of Tra Vinh University, and representatives from various schools, including School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Agriculture and Aquaculture, School of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanity (SLASKA), the Department of Training, and the Institute of International Training, actively engage in discussions.
During the meeting, both parties explore internship and job prospects for students in Japan. The companies express interest and recruitment needs in diverse fields such as mechanical engineering, automation, automotive, information technology, construction, electrical electronics, restaurants, hotels, and nursing.
In the coming months, Tra Vinh University’s Center of Career will continue collaborating with partners to select qualified students for internship and job positions in Japan. Additionally, the university and companies will jointly organize job fairs and career counselling sessions for students.
This partnership presents a valuable opportunity for Tra Vinh University students to connect with potential employers and expand their career horizons after graduation. The university aims to equip its students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and practical experience to meet the demands of the current labor market through these engagement activities between the school and businesses.
