Tra Vinh University participates in national conference on breakthrough developments in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation

(TVU) – The Communist Party Committee of Tra Vinh University is participating in the National Conference on Breakthrough Developments in Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation on January 13, 2025. The conference is being held in person at the Dien Hong Hall of the National Assembly building while simultaneously connecting virtually with party committees at provincial and city levels, central party organizations, ministries, departments, and administrative units at provincial, district and commune levels.

The conference aims to evaluate the implementation of resolutions by the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat regarding scientific and technological development. It focuses on implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, issued by the Politburo on December 22, 2024, which addresses breakthrough developments in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. The goal is to create transformative changes in awareness and implementation, contributing to the country’s development in the new era of national advancement.

The conference emphasizes the need for thorough, scientific, and effective implementation of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation tasks. This approach aims to create unity within the Party and consensus among the public, business community, entrepreneurs, and society.

Resolution 57-NQ/TW, issued by the Politburo, emphasizes that the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation is now a decisive factor in national development. It presents the best opportunity for Vietnam to achieve prosperity and strength in this new era of national advancement.

The Resolution outlines seven groups of tasks and solutions, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness and breakthrough changes in thinking. It calls for strong political determination and decisive leadership to create new momentum throughout society for the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

 

At Tra Vinh University’s conference site, located in Lecture Hall D5, Campus I, party members gather in large numbers. The conference is helping university party members enhance their understanding of the importance of science, technology, and innovation in the digital transformation era. It also allows staff, party members, civil servants, lecturers, and students to engage with national digital transformation strategies and apply them effectively to teaching, research, and learning.
