(TVU) โ On June 6, Tra Vinh University holds a working session with the delegation from Con Dao National Park to develop cooperation activities in research and local product development while preserving natural resources.

Tra Vinh University sends Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of the university, and Dr. Huynh Van Muoi Mot, Deputy Party Secretary and Head of General Administration Office, along with representatives from relevant departments and colleges.
Con Dao National Park delegation includes Mr. Nguyen Van Nga, Head of Tourism and Environmental Education Department at Con Dao National Park.
Speaking at the working session, Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung confirms the strong cooperation potential between Tra Vinh University and Con Dao. The Vice Rector emphasizes research, exploitation, and development of Con Dao’s unique natural products, such as forest grapes (which can be used for wine production), ground ginseng (processed into tablets, beverages, and wine), and wild pineapple. These products contribute to local economic development and align well with current consumer trends that prioritize natural and sustainable products.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nga, representative of Con Dao National Park, highly appreciates Tra Vinh University’s research capabilities and application deployment. He expresses his desire to strengthen cooperation in scientific projects and product development based on Con Dao’s unique and abundant resources.
During the working session, both parties discuss specific details about production capacity, exploitation potential, product processing orientation, and research plans for the coming period. The focus centers on building a sustainable value chain from product research and development, commercialization, and particularly participation in the OCOP program.
