(TVU) – Tra Vinh University (TVU) and Mobifone Vinh Long (MF VLG) launch their collaboration at the Mobifone Vinh Long headquarters on March 29. This partnership follows an agreement between TVU and Mobifone Service Company Region 9 signed on September 18, 2024, aiming to integrate telecommunications technology and digital transformation into education and research.
The event brings together provincial leaders, including Ms Nguyen Thi Minh Trang, a Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee from Vinh Long Province, Ms Truong Thanh Nhuan, Director of Vinh Long’s Department of Education and Training, and Mr Thach Phuoc Binh, Deputy Head of Tra Vinh Province’s National Assembly delegation. Representatives from both organizations, local entrepreneurs associations, and high school trustees also attend the meeting.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan, Director of Mobifone Vinh Long, highlights their modern telecommunications infrastructure and expert team. She explains how Mobifone can support TVU in implementing educational technology solutions and improving student employment opportunities.
Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of TVU, emphasizes the University’s application-oriented training programs that align with business needs. He explains that the partnership will create internship opportunities and enable applied research in educational technology.
The collaboration focuses on several key areas: student internships at Mobifone Vinh Long, specialized training in telecommunications technology, AI, Big Data, IoT, enrollment support, and student entrepreneurship programs. Mobifone Vinh Long also offers digital solutions, including mWeb, Smart Office, and digital authentication services to enhance TVU’s operations.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang emphasizes that digital transformation represents a crucial national development strategy. She views this university-enterprise partnership as a significant step toward improving human resource quality and supporting sustainable social development.
