(TVU) – On the evening of February 18, Tra Vinh University collaborated with Kun Shan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) to organize an introduction program for the International Talent Education Special Scholarship (INTENSE), bringing study abroad and work opportunities in Taiwan to TVU students and alumni.
Dr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Deputy Director of the International Training Institute at Tra Vinh University, explains: “The INTENSE program includes training levels from bachelor’s to doctoral degrees with 2+2+i or 3+1+i formats (i: internship – students have an additional paid internship year). The program offers a 2-year bachelor’s transfer program for college graduates, a 2-year post-bachelor’s transfer program, master’s and doctoral programs, and bachelor’s programs studying alongside local students.”
Students participating in the program receive full or partial scholarships, two-year tuition fee exemption, living allowance support of 8 million VND per month, and part-time work opportunities of 20 hours per week with average income of 12 million VND per month. After graduation, students can work at Taiwanese enterprises with starting salaries of 25-30 million VND per month.
