Tra Vinh University provides free dental check-ups and treatment for more than 1000 patients

TVU – Tra Vinh University coordinates with the World Healing Alliance (WHA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Dental Association to organize a free dental check-up and treatment program. This initiative takes place from August 8th to 11th in the districts of Cau Ke, Cau Ngang, and Tieu Can within Tra Vinh province.

 

Over 20 doctors are participating in dental examinations and consultations. They come from the Ho Chi Minh City Dental Association, Odonto – Stomatology Department of Tra Vinh University Hospital, and 20 students majoring in Odonto – Stomatology studies from the university.

Ms. Quach Thi Vu Hue, Deputy Director of the Community Service Center at Tra Vinh University, states that this free dental program has garnered attention from local authorities, particularly from individuals who are in need of dental care and check-ups.

   

The collaborative team has worked closely with local authorities, equipped modern medical supplies, medicines, dental tools, and a team of doctors to directly conduct dental check-ups and consultations for those in need. The plan is to provide check-ups, consultations, and treatment for various dental issues to over 1000 patients during this period.

Ms. Nguyen Thi No, residing in Thong Hoa Commune, Cau Ke District, shares her experience: “The doctors have explained my dental condition and provided clear instructions for medication. The friendly doctors and medical staff, along with well-equipped tools and equipment, have made the experience very comfortable.”

The organizing committee has also arranged over 1,000 gifts for the participants, including jackets and toothpaste boxes sponsored by P/S Toothpaste Company, as part of promoting oral health care.

In the following days, the dental team will continue to directly provide check-ups and treatment for residents in Phong Thanh Commune, Cau Ke District; Long Son Commune, Cau Ngang District; and Phu Can Commune, Tieu Can District.
