Tra Vinh University receives interns from Marine Institute

(TVU) – Feb 17, 2016. Ms. Karissa Nandana Chandrakate and Ms. Meghan Lindsay Brockington, Marine Institute (MI) interns, Canada have undertaken their work at Tra Vinh University (TVU) for six months since Feb 17.

This intern exchange program is under the framework of academic collaboration between TVU and MI.

Ms. Karissa Nandana Chandrakate is working on projects about climate change adaption at Center for Climate Change Adaptation Research and Community Development Support while Ms. Meghan Lindsay Brockington is responsible for holding seminars and workshops on enhancing people’s awareness about food safety at Center for Post Harvest Technology.

MI and TVU have tightened friendship and co-operation relations for many years. MI sends experts and interns to the university for academic exchange and research annually. MI also offers many scholarships and academic development programs to TVU students.
