TVU – Tra Vinh University marks a significant milestone as it prepares to send its first Mechanical Engineering Technology students to Japan for an 11-month paid Co-Op internship program. On July 29, 2024, the university hosts a meeting with the families of four selected students, celebrating this exciting opportunity for international experience and professional growth.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung thanks Vietgroup Education Investment JSC for collaborating with TVU to provide this valuable internship opportunity in Japan. He encourages the students to make the most of their 11-month experience, emphasizing the importance of adhering to company regulations and respecting local laws and customs.
The event also serves as a platform for families to discuss openly with company representatives, address concerns, and share insights about life and work in Japan. This exchange helps alleviate anxieties and builds confidence among students and their families as they prepare for this international adventure.
The four pioneering students – Huynh Quy Duy, Nguyen Hoang An, Pham Phuc Qui, and Tran Gia Bao – have demonstrated exceptional dedication, honing their professional skills and mastering the Japanese language to meet the program’s requirements. Their willingness to pursue an internship abroad reflects a mature mindset and eagerness to explore international career opportunities.
The internship will run from August 2024 to June 2025, offering these students an immersive experience in Japan’s advanced mechanical engineering sector.
