On October 27, 2021, representatives of Tra Vinh University and My Phong Leather Shoes Co. Ltd. officially sign a cooperation agreement with the witness of representatives of the two units.
At the meeting, the delegation of My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd. has the representatives of Mr. Hsu Kuang Tien (Tu Quang Thien), General Director, and the presence of managers and executives of the company. On the side of Tra Vinh University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector, chairs the meeting; leaders of TVU Faculties and Career Center also attend.
Assoc. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector, said: “The partnership between schools and businesses is really important. In Vietnam, the cooperation between universities and enterprises can be through the educational principle of “Training – Research – Serving production”. The success of this partnership can be the result of improving the quality of training and future job prospects for students or the research conducted by the University and the transfer of technology and knowledge to the production and business sector”.
Mr. Hsu Kuang Tien, General Director of the Company, said: “Building and developing an effective Student – School – Business relationship is a process that requires systematic efforts. In particular, the initiative between the school and the enterprise will play a decisive role in developing this relationship”.
Ms. Che Thi Huyen Tran – Human Resources Manager of My Phong Leather Shoes Company, said: “It comes from the actual need of students. Besides, My Phong Company is also one of the units that create jobs for local people. After temporarily controlling the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the province selected My Phong Company as a pioneer in re-production. Through exchanging and working with the leaders of Tra Vinh University, the two units came to the signing ceremony today.”
Thereby, the 02 units have agreed to cooperate in implementing 03 contents in the coming time:
Firstly, Tra Vinh University conducts training and provides human resources, periodically retraining to improve qualifications and working skills to meet production and business requirements in the new period for the company.
Secondly, My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd. receives workers according to the needs of the job position, students for internships, guides project making, develops practical and internship content. My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd. sends experts with expertise and practical experience to participate in thematic guidance and contribute ideas to the training program.
Thirdly, the two sides exchange and share experiences to build initiatives in technical modeling, management organization, and research in production.
