In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa shares that this cooperation represents a commitment between the two units and serves as the starting point for many meaningful programs that contribute to sustainable regional development. The university remains ready to share resources and work together with Con Dao to develop education, science, technology, and heritage conservation.
Mr. Le Thanh Tu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Special Administrative Unit, affirms the importance of education and environment in development orientation, improving human resource quality, and contributing to protecting and promoting local values. The cooperation between the two sides promises to bring many benefits to students and the community. He expresses the desire to further strengthen the cooperative relationship with Tra Vinh University in the coming time.
According to the memorandum, both sides implement cooperation in four main areas: training and human resource development; scientific research – innovation; brand building and local product promotion; and digital transformation and technology application. Specifically, the two sides will coordinate to organize capacity-building training courses, support scholarships for students, implement applied research projects serving the community, and develop Con Dao’s distinctive products, such as wild ginseng, wild pineapple, and wild grapes.
Additionally, they will build technology platforms serving education and tourism promotion. All these efforts aim to improve human resource quality, preserve local values, and promote sustainable and comprehensive local development.
On this occasion, the Con Dao Special Administrative Unit delegation presents 20 scholarships worth 30 million VND to disadvantaged students at Tra Vinh University, demonstrating social responsibility and deep connection with the student community.
Immediately after the signing ceremony, both sides plant commemorative trees at the Center of Excellence in Learning Resources and Innovation (CELRI) campus, symbolizing strong bonds and commitment to sustainable development in the future.
