TVU – In a major step forward, Tra Vinh University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (HHM), Germany, to strengthen collaboration in training and research programs.
The signing ceremony took place on October 22, 2024, with the delegation from HHM led by Prof. Dr. Nicole Ondrusch, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Director of the Bachelor of Software Engineering Program.
Representing TVU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector, welcomes the German delegation and provides an overview of TVU’s academic functions, key majors, and future cooperation opportunities.
During the working session, Prof.Dr. Ondrusch introduces HHM’s training, research, internship programs, and initiatives for international scholars. She then proposes specific areas of collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU outlines joint initiatives to exchange staff, lecturers, students, and trainees and coordinate international seminars and conferences in fields of mutual interest.
Following the MoU signing, the College of Economics and Law at TVU discusses the student, lecturer, and researcher exchange programs with the HHM representatives. This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of training and scientific research activities at both universities.
This partnership between TVU and Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences represents a significant milestone in TVU’s internationalization efforts, opening up new avenues for academic and research collaboration with a leading German institution.
