Tra Vinh University signs strategic partnership with Philippines’ Cagayan Valley University

TVU – Tra Vinh University expands the international academic network through a significant partnership agreement with the University of Cagayan Valley (UCV) of the Philippines, marking a new milestone in cross-border educational collaboration.

At a formal ceremony held at TVU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of TVU, and Ms. Esther Susan N. Perez–Mari, President of UCV, sign a comprehensive memorandum of cooperation focusing on scientific research and academic exchange programs.

The signing ceremony brings together key leaders from both institutions, including UCV’s Vice President, Mr. Joselito’s Alisuag, and Mr. Rodolfo Sabas, Director and Founder of WYNIM Educational Consulting, alongside TVU’s department heads and unit representatives.

Under this strategic partnership, TVU commits to extensive collaboration across multiple domains, including student and faculty exchange programs, sharing of research materials and academic resources, joint scientific research projects, technology commercialization initiatives, curriculum development, and modernization.

TVU’s School of Nursing – College of Medicine and Pharmacy takes a proactive stance by proposing specific collaborative initiatives, including joint development of nursing training programs, organization of international conferences, scientific publication partnerships, experience-sharing seminars, specialized English training programs, internship opportunities, faculty and student exchange programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung emphasizes the significance of this partnership, expressing confidence in the timely implementation of agreed initiatives and the potential for expanded cooperation in the coming years.

UCV’s President Ms. Esther Susan N. Perez–Mari highlights the agreement’s role in strengthening institutional ties and broader bilateral relations between Vietnam and the Philippines through academic collaboration.

This partnership represents TVU’s ongoing commitment to international academic excellence and its growing role in fostering cross-cultural educational exchanges in Southeast Asia.
