TVU – Tra Vinh University is taking significant strides in international academic collaboration. As part of an ongoing partnership with Central Philippine University (CPU), two distinguished lecturers from TVU’s School of Engineering and Technology embark on a month-long assignment in the Philippines.
Dr. Huynh Van Hiep and Dr. Le Ngoc Long, both esteemed faculty members at TVU, commence their academic journey at CPU on September 1, 2024. This initiative is a cornerstone of the broader collaboration between the two institutions, encompassing student exchange programs.
This program’s primary objectives are to enhance the professional capabilities of TVU’s faculty and fortify the international bonds between the universities. During their stay, the TVU lecturers are set to deliver lectures at CPU and engage in joint research projects with their Filipino counterparts. Additionally, they will participate in local cultural exchange events, fostering a deeper understanding between the two academic communities.
This collaboration presents a unique opportunity for TVU researchers to expand their professional networks by connecting with specialists from CPU. The university anticipates that this cross-pollination of ideas will lead to the creation and development of more research projects in the future.
TVU’s leadership views this exchange as a foundation for more ambitious cooperative initiatives. TVU is positioning itself as a forward-thinking institution committed to global academic excellence by investing in these international relationships.
The warm welcome extended to the TVU lecturers by CPU’s leadership underscores the mutual respect and enthusiasm shared by both universities for this collaborative venture.
