(TVU) – During three days of 8-10 in August, 2018, TVU law students have been conducting mock trials in the three provinces of Kien Giang, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu in the Mekong River Delta region.
Each mock trial has lasted over one hour and attracted hundreds of participants. It aims at providing legal information for high school students and local peole in remote areas.
Nguyen Thi Hanh, a watcher in the mock trials said: “Cases in the mock trials are very common in our society today. After watching these mock trials, we learn important life lessons and understand more about the government regulations.”
“Mock trials are a distinctive feature of our law major. These mock trials help students apply their knowledge to practical situations. Mock trials have been taking place in 13 provinces in the Mekong River Delta region”, said teacher Phan Minh Gioi, Deputy Head of TVU Department of Law.
