TVU – Tra Vinh University students and faculty receive a warm welcome from organizers of the 2024 International Summer Camp at Samar State University (SSU) and Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) in the Philippines on August 12, 2024.
The two-week summer camp, running from August 11-24, 2024, takes place at SSU in Catbalogan City and NwSSU in Calbayog City in Samar Province, Philippines. Participants hail from four universities: SSU and NwSSU (Philippines), Brawijaya University (Indonesia), and TVU (Vietnam).
Two TVU students are representing their institution:
- Tran Nhat Anh, 2022 Nursing program
- Mai Ngoc Duyen, 2022 Aquaculture program
Accompanying the students is Ms. Nguyen Duong Thu Nguyet, a staff member from TVU’s Institute of International Education.
The 2024 International Summer Camp is part of an ongoing collaboration between TVU and SSU. This program offers students real-world experiences through academic exchanges, cultural immersion, art appreciation, and culinary exploration with Filipino and Indonesian peers. Participants can expect a range of enriching and engaging activities throughout their stay.
